Dave started his career in 1975 as a Driver/Salesman for Mazzones Bakery. In 1976 he moved to Dolly Madison and was their Steward from 1977 to 1979. In 1979 he moved to Schwebel Baking Co. where he was elected Union Steward in 1982 thru 1990. During 1988 he was elected to the Local’s Executive Board as a Trustee. Since 1990 Dave has moved up in this Local to being the Secretary Treasurer / Principal Officer in 2003. Dave’s accomplishments have been seen, not only with this Local, but also with the International Teamsters. Labor Studies and Labor Classes at Ohio State University, Cleveland State University, and Tri-C. Here is a short list of his accomplishments.
Jason has been a member since 1996, when he started working at Interstate Brands Corp. After 5 years of working at IBC, Jason became a Depot Steward, representing the members at the location that he worked out of in 2001. Shortly after, in 2002 Jason became Chief Steward and began representing all of the Teamsters Local #52 members employed by IBC. Jason became Trustee of the Local, and an Executive Board member in 2003.Jason resigned employment with IBC and took a job at Mondelez in 2011, in order to work for a more stable Company. In 2013, Jason was elected to Recording Secretary. In 2019, Jason moved to the position of President of the Local. Jason has completed an assortment of workshops and seminars put on by the Joint Council, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and the Teamsters Bakery and Laundry Conference U.S.A. and Canada in order to better represent the members of this Local.
David started his career in 2000 working part-time for Nabisco while he attended Cleveland State University studing Business Administration and Business Law. In 2002 David switched employment while still attending Cleveland State to the Keebler Company. After finishing College Dave gained full-time employment at Entenmann's Baking Company which is now owned by Bimbo Baking USA. David was elected Steward in 2010. David has completed an assortment of workshops put on by the Joint Council, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and the Teamsters Bakery and Laundry Conference U.S.A. and Canada in order to better represent the members of this Local.
John was appointed Trustee in January 2016. John has worked for Schwebel's Baking for over 25 years and has been a long time Steward. John has attended Teamsters Bakery and Laundry Conference U.S.A. and Canada.
Pat has been employed at Nickles (Akron) for 18 years. He has been the Union Steward there for the past 5 years. Pat was appointed trustee in August 2013.
Kim Stated working at the Wooster Frito lay production plant in 2011. She became the 3rd shift steward in 2012, and has been involved in all contract negotiations since that time. Kim became a Trustee of the Local in 2019. Before Frito Lay, Kim was the Financial Secretary for the United Steelworkers. While there,Kim was involved in contract negotiations and negotiated the plant closure. Kim has attended multiple leadership workshops at Linden Hall.
